Its funny how much recent fan art of Cherry from Studio Killers annoys me.  I’ve noticed a lot of people drawing her really fresh faced and cute, even with a better shaped body. 

Look at that face.  She’s burned out, trashy and dead eyed.  Just kind’ve floating through the song (and life) with as little effort necessary, because she has very little left in her.  She’s in her 20’s and already all used up.

I dunno, I feel like the fresh faced, happy Cherry’s I’ve seen floating around don’t reflect the character properly.  Or maybe I’m just annoyed that there are people out there that like her for different reasons than why I like her… :P

I need to draw Cherry….
