Fowlie’s got a plan….?
So, this passed summer, I had resolved to move out and try and make it in the not so big city. Buuuut I got stressed out and chickened out and decided to fuck off to New York City for a week to get some perspective. After that, I managed to find the job at the store, and not too much longer after that, I began working at the laundry mat.
But I’m still not wild about where I am right now SO—-
I’m thinking about going for my same plan again this summer. Its a plan my mother has helped me out with.
First I store/sell/throw out/give away my stuff, and find temporary (either boarding with someone or subletting a room) residence in the city. Next, find a job while living in the city in my sort term housing. After that would be to find a permanent place to live, prob with a roommate, and get all my crap up there with me, as well as my kitty cat.
I can get out my lease as long as I give my landlord like 2 or 3 months notice, and I am planning to leave in the summer (biggest renting time), so that shouldn’t be a big deal.
Finding a temp place to live shouldn’t be too hard either, I think a lot of students take off in May and June, anyway.
The hardest part of that will be finding a job, work is hard to come buy, but I will have some great reference from my most recent jobs. Also, I feel like the job market is starting to pick up again. But if I can’t find a job, then I will have to move home and live with my mother again, and start over in the valley that I kind’ve, really, hate.
So this all means that I am going to be busy as fuck. Busy looking for a place, busy getting my stuff in order, busy making a huge bank of Fritz pages (I will try to take my drafting table with me, but who knows) and the such.
As I’ve thought for a while, I wont be able to finish the Luka book in time for the submission dead line. But, that’s fine. I still want to do the book, and I can publish it myself through Kablam or something. Now I can take more time on it.
So thats my basic plan for the next few months, I hope it all works out…. I need to start going through my books and sell a bunch of the ones I don’t need anymore.

I’m pretty excited.
